I asked him to recommend a brand/model of external hard drive for my image storage. My thinking was that he would know what brands he works on the most, you know, the ones that are always failing. I would avoid those. So, maybe my question wasn't "What the best?", more like "What brand and models should I avoid?
I just got off the phone with a long time client - a professional photographer. He told me of his most disturbing experience.
