Language in some Business Owners Policy's (BOP) state that Business Personal Property (BPP) is NOT covered off premises while in the custody of the United States Postal Service ("mail"). No such language exists for BPP in the custody of UPS or Fedex. This suggests using a private shipping company is a must when sending equipment back and forth to say the manufacturer.
